This was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. We checked in on Friday everything seemed to be fine. Until i woke up around 2-3am that night with my neck and chin burning and itching. I go into the bathroom to see the huge bumps on me. Sometimes i break out into hives, so i thought maybe i was just having an episode. But was uncomfortable throughout the entire night itching and feeling like something was crawling on me. Therefore, once we woke up the next morning i called for fresh linens for the bed to be completely changed and i left the slip on the bed requesting new sheets also. We left for the day and came back around 4-5pm. I immediately realized the sheets were not new and after examining the sheets were actually really dirty all they did was remake the bed up. We left for the evening and came back around 11pm. Once we got back we really didn’t feel like making a fuss we were really exhausted. Then i woke up again around 1am and found more bumps on my arms and then i sat up. I knew something was wrong but couldn’t figure out exactly what. Then finally the bed bug was running all over the bed and we instantly got up and called the front desk. They moved us to a different room at 2 in the morning. Also to a smaller room, we booked a 1 king bed got moved to a room with 2 beds. They tried to offer free breakfast but once we woke up it was over. We let the front desk know about everything that occurred and nobody from corporate or this location has contacted me yet. I was not reimbursed anything. I had to go to the doctors and receive medicine because i literally was bitten everywhere and we had to make sure our luggage’s had no bed bugs in them, taking them to the laundromat. And still hoping nothing left with us. I would never stay there again it was literally the weekend from hell. We expected a nice weekend after reading reviews and knowing Sheraton hotels in general background. But this location never again.

Update: I received a email from the president of the hotel apologizing for my experience and guaranteeing that this is not the normal service at this location. She promised me 10,000 Hilton Honor points and I still have not received them or a return email from her.

I was very disappointed during my stay last night. My family and a friend and her family picked this hotel becausebof the pool and breakfast. The gentlemen who checked me in told me where the pool & business center was, but when my kids put on their bathing suits and we headed to the pool the same gentlemen then decided to tell us the pool was under construction. So now unhappy kids head back to the rooms in their bathing suites. I asked if I could just leave and get another hotel and they said all they could offer was $10 off my bill. Woke up this morning and breakfast was a gross looking. I didn't want to touch any of their "hot breakfast" so my kids just got yogurt and cereal. I'm so unhappy about this whole experience. The rooms were good except the 3 stank bugs crawling on the ceiling.

The beds are hard/firm, if that's your thing (not mine). Rooms were clean, breakfast was good. I called ahead to arrange to have my 2 rooms be adjacent and to have the other occupants be allowed to check in in my absence. The hotel receptionist said I was all set, but when my friends arrived, the hotel said they had no record of this transaction. They didn't get adjacent rooms and I had to intervene to get them in. The hotel doesn't seem to have a good way of communicating between receptionists or keeping records of customer requests. But as a basic, clean hotel, it's good.

Very clean and convenient. Staff was great. They have free breakfast and snacks for sale in the lobby. This is the second time I have stayed there. If you need to stay in a hotel in the Columbia area, I would highly recommend this Hampton Inn.

This is obviously a slightly older Hampton Inn that has been remodeled. The rooms were nice as you'd expect, the bathroom better than average, but the fittings in the sink were loose in my room. The chair at the table was also recline back too far and couldn't be easily be sat in without falling back. The biggest issue I had though was that the doors did very little to block sound from the corridor which could be quite loud. Kept my son up late because people were having conversations in the corridor. Otherwise the hotel's amenities were good.
