Bit of a hit or miss experience: Staff was very friendly and accommodating, and the room was clean. The location was also very convenient to a number of restaurants and other places of interest nearby. Prices in the store were outrageous, though ($3.50 for a minitature thing of floss), but that's to be expected. Gym was small, which I'd be willing to forgive, but the treadmills were not well maintained and there were dead bugs on the dumbbell rack. Also, if you need to use the bathroom during your workout, be prepared to run all the way down to the lobby or back to your room because there isn't one close to the gym. Further, I concur with Tia's review re: the pool: When I travel, I always try to pick a hotel with a pool because I love swimming laps to work out, but the pool was a) too small and b) constantly full of children. Finally, the heater rattled at night, so I generally kept it off and just opted to be cold.
The location is convenient to many restaurants, bars, and shops. We got upgraded to a suite, which was spacious with a comfortable bed. The front-desk staff made me feel welcome and appreciated for being a Rewards Member. We didn't make use of many of the amenities, but there is a pool, fitness center, and a restaurant on site.
Great location in Columbia with plenty of restaurants and shopping around. Rooms are clean and fairly nice. I would stay here again
Staff Great! Rooms not so great, had an old McD's cup and straw in my fridge, Tv's are old 1080p, bathroom toiletroll dispenser fell out of wall, door to bathroom had holes wood puttied and painted over. Breakfast runs around $10.
I spent the night here and conducted three meetings. Plenty of well light parking, very safe. My overnight room was spotless and had a great view. I conducted three meetings here and they did ok. The lunches were a little late each day as there seemed to be some confusion as to what time to serve. I had asked for the room to be vacuumed between each class and it wasn't. I may use this property again, just depends.
