Very noisy based on all the kids running around. I understand they are kids, but there should be a room policy/no hallway loitering policy after a certain time. My room was directly next to the elevator and the kids kept hanging out there late. Welcome to the hotel was very nice.
Location was convenient but a little hard to find. Room was large, bed very comfortable, and was good. Shower could have used some hand holds. Water was occasionally not warm enough. A large group of teens was in the hotel at the same time and there was very little noise associated with that.
We met up with some friends at the bar since they were in town. Our bartender, John was very friendly and attentive. I was indecisive about what I wanted to eat so he made some suggestions which I took. The lobster bisque and the Salmon were both amazing suggestions.
Very welcoming beautiful Hotel. Soothing on the eyes. Friendly accommodating staff. Quiet and Clean. A great place to stay over. Hot cookie and bottle water is surprising upon check in. Thumbs up for Double Tree in Columbia MD.
Very nice and clean hotel. Staff is very helpful. The wait staff in the morning always had a smile. I will definitely be back.
