If you are going alone, be careful one of the attender (I think his name is Francis) treats you like a waste of money for them. No respect and courtesy. He told me to stand out side while he can greet other customers, there is one good guy who took me in and gave a table. He also put the check next to me right after I start eating, indicating I should leave as he got more customers. Very frustrating experience and rude. He constantly staring at me as if I am eating free.
This is one of my favorite Indian spots in Columbia. I don't visit that often but the food and service has always been excellent. I should mention that on a recent visit I found a strand of hair in the buffet line. This was a first for them and I hope it was just a one time mishap - they're better than that. Nevertheless I wouldn't hesitate to eat here again. They lose a star for the hair incident
Excellent experience! My family and I went to this restaurant for dinner. My wife and I ordered the comb for two (non vegetarian) and my two kids had the chicken kabobs. Everything in the combo was excellent, especially the vegetables. One of my kids loved the chicken, the other is a very picky eater but he ate it just the same. This was our first time eating Indian food, and the waiter helped us to figure out how to eat everything. He was extremely friendly and very attentive. The house merlot was good and we'll priced. The mango smoothie was delicious for my kids. Overall again excellent, highly recommended.
I cannot say enough good things about Chutney!
What really blows me away is the food. We started coming here when they first opened and have never been disappointed. The flavoring of each dish is fantastic, such depth and complexities. Chutney uses top quality ingredients, and it pays off with the fantastic flavors the dishes produce. They have a wonderful selection of meat and vegetable dishes - the latter is great for my vegetarian father. Pair your dish with a King Fisher beer or a Mango Lassie and finish off the meal with Carrot Halwa dessert.
What a fantastic restaurant!! The staff are so attentive and caring, they treat you like family. The design of the restaurant is simple, but very welcoming, and Indian music plays in the background.
Very friendly greeting and seating us. The chicken Korma was amazing. They didn't skimp on the raisins and almonds. The team service was great and very attentive. They boxed and bagged the leftovers for us. I will definitely be back. The best chicken korma in Columbia.
