Good store. Well stocked, love the clearance sections! Fairly low-key, workers are nice, selection is decent. I like that it doesn't get too "packed" with animals/people, that makes browsing nicer. They have a cat adoption section as well as a dog and cat hotel/daycare area. Never used it but looks clean and well-kept.
The store is great and the employees are helpful but DO NOT go to the grooming department. I took my dog to get his nails grinded and the tech looped him without addressing him. She didn't pet him, look at him or do anything to introduce herself. She then started talking to another customer and pulled my dog into the air off of his feel by his neck. I told her I didn't like how she was holding him and she replied, " do you want to grind his nails?!?" She brought him back and said she couldn't get all of them because he wouldn't cooperate, BIG SURPRISE... I talked to the manager and he took my dog to the vet department and got the rest of his nails cut for free. But I won't be coming back to this rude and abusive tech and as she is the only tech they have, I won't be coming back here for grooming.
I'm writing for the hotel part of petsmart. We stopped in to buy our dogs food and they had a window to view the play area for the dog hotel. There were maybe 10 dogs in there with a male employee who was standing against the wall not paying attention to any of the dogs. He had a headphone in his ear and just looked straight ahead with an annoyed look on his face. At one point had his arms across his forehead. The dogs were by him and barking, probably to get his attention. Once customers left the viewing area I heard the male employee angrily yell "SHUT UP". Just based on how annoyed the employee clearly looked and didn't want to be there and the fact that he yelled at the dogs just shows me I will never take my dogs there. Who knows if he would've physically done something to the dogs.
I should be able to have my dog bathed at anytime. It’s soap and water!! I could have signed a waiver making it my responsibility if the area became worse but to be told it was an open sore when its been scabbed over to 2 days (see attached images) is just ridiculous to me. No customer service! I'm cancelling my Banfield membership as well!!

Only pet store you should use. They have adopted out millions of cats and dogs using outside entities.
I went to this Petsmart to have my dog bathed today. I explained that my dog had some ointment on his side due to skin allergies but that they were scabbed over for 2 days so the hypoallergenic shampoo should be fine. The manager claimed it was an open wound and refused to give him a bath.
We adopted a great dog thru them. We love animals, like everyone and like their way of doing this and just want to support it so we shop here.
