These therapists are all nice people. That said, their actual physical therapy regimine leaves much to be desired. I went here for roughly 4 weeks after a knee surgery and never once had my PT sit down one on one to discuss my progress, her plan for my treatment (benchmarks she wanted to hit/etc),etc. Most of my "Or how does everything look" questions received a generic "everything looks like it should" response. No specifics, ever.In addition, these therapists often work with multiple patients at once and expect you to do exercises on your own w/out oversight and without direction(meaning they assume you'll do the same as your last session even if they don't direct you to do so). Once I was done I often stood around waiting for the PT to come around and then give me another round of exercises. I'd suggest going anywhere but here, their lack of professionalism and lack of guidance/treatment discussion can't make up for their nice personalities.

Wonderful therapists who are very professional. They helped me through my cancer recovery with much kindness and skill.

I've been going to Physiotherapy Associates - Centre Park Drive for a week and one half. I have found their "exercises" helpful and their associates courteous and pleasant to work with. The only thing that really "bugs" me is the fact that the therapist with whom I work only spends maybe five minutes with me out of the hour I spend at the facility. That said, my first session was excellent: the therapist discussed my problem and how it would be treated. I was given a couple of very easy exercises to increase flexibility, which I was instructed to do at home, which I did. My next session I was observed doing the exercises and given another exercise. The following week the therapist I worked with was on vacation so worked with another therapist, who discussed the exercises I was working on. She also was hands on with trying to help me, stretching my muscles, and checking my movements and the actual physical problems with my back. Great! However, this week, my original therapist returned. I am a bit disappointed in that he ushered me into the facility, instructed me to work on the exercises I was given, then left to work with another client. I believe he spent maybe five to 10 minutes total answering a couple of questions and observing me go through the exercises. This past session, yesterday, I believe he spent maybe five minutes total of the hour, observing and instructing. Somehow it feels wrong that my insurance is paying approximately $80, I'm paying $20, for five minutes of his time, and 55 minutes working on my own. I realize the facility has equipment costs, space costs (rental?), utilities, administrative help, billing services, and whatever else they have to pay, but $100 or more for one hour doing mild exercises substantially on my own, no equipment use, seems very expensive. I continue to go to this facility as it is convenient to my home and the administrative staff and therapists are very pleasant, and I do feel the exercises are helping (SLOWLY) but I'm not sure I and my insurance are getting good value for money.

This place is a joke. The therapists are so nonchalant and unprofessional. They will recommend you continue treatment long after the usual time for an injury for profit. Find another therapist.
