Got carry out on opening day, food was amazing! Customer service was great. No complaints from my side.
Food was good. It was too noisy with the music. Couldn't talk because you couldn't hear what was being said. Service was so so and there were a lot of workers hanging around the computer station in the area. There was at least 6 hanging around all the time. Asked for a few items got only one. Salad was nice, baked potato was nice and hot which I never seem to get a hot one at other establishments. Asked for sour cream on the side it came on the potatoes after she said absolutely you can have on the side. Was a fairly new place still smelled like sawdust. The bathroom was nice but the deodorizer was overwhelming. Couldn't wait to get out of it.
Been here a few times. They do need to get better waiters. Out of the 3 times we been there, two times they got the order wrong. The food is not great but ok. If you want a great steak or burger go to Longhorn or Red Robin. They need to improve on the hiring. To many mistakes and I have seen other guests have issues as well. They have a lot of staff just standing around. The music is so loud, you really can't have a conversation. The bread is the really only good thing you have, if it wasn't for that we wouldn't come back.
This is an update to my first review:
Great food. Good atmosphere. Best of all, great prices! I especially admire the $8.99 before 6 pm Monday - Friday special menu. Hearty meals with 2 sides. Can't go wrong here!
Great restaurant; great food. Service from Jamie, our waitress, was great! Had to wait some on the bar order; so they must be understaffed. Because they were busy, we never got our rolls from the hostess who said she'd bring them out when available, but we finally did get them after asking. So overall, the service was good. In the men's restroom, the toilet seat in the first stall was only held on loosely with one bolt. The seat was dirty anyway. So, I used the handicapped stall. Another one-screw-toilet seat experience and almost no paper (oh, no!!...help!!). The management needs to pay attention to these details or the building itself will start driving customers away. I never saw or sought out a manager, and was surprised that one did not come around to the table like they usually do. I go to this restaurant for the music, peanuts, great and consistent food at all the stores, and the perfect temperature beer. So, even with the restroom maintenance issues, I will continue to get my peanuts, beer and steak here.
Well, this is my second time getting carry out and to say the least I was very disappointed. Put my order in online at 630 to be ready at 700. Got there promptly at 700. The greeter said the girl preparing the food has to get a few more things and that's no problem I don't mind waiting 5 minutes. But as 15 minutes go by...the girl preparing my food asks me what my name is again. I tell her and wait patiently again...meanwhile other waitresses are asking if I need anything to drink or peanuts which is all very sweet. But as 4 people that come and get carry out behind me all get their food before me. I get agitated. So 30 minutes of waiting inside VERY patiently I finally get my food lukewarm. I was told if my food was cold they could redo the order but I'm hungry, aggravated, and tired of standing around. So I take my food and go the only compensation I was offered was extra bread or a drink. I love Texas roadhouses. This is the first bad experience I've ever had.
