The office had our Christmas party of 10 people at the Columbia location yesterday. The unfortunate part would be our waitress. She was unfriendly and inattentive. No matter how many thank yous we gave her, she only said you're welcome once. We'll call her miss V. The place wasn't busy in the slightest. After another server noticed we were obviously long since ready to order, Eric saved the day and took our appetizer order. Only then did miss V notice and comment on Eric trying to steal her table. Maybe she didn't feel well or was having a bad day. Food eventually arrived and it was ok. Just ok. Anyway, Eric is great. I hope Miss V finds something excellent in her future that makes her happy at work. Tip would've been show stopping had our service been friendlier.
Very nice place small & large groups. Our waitress Kristina was pleasant & knowledgeable about the menu. She ever took pictures for us. My Filet Mignon was juicy & tender. I will return...
Went for a work luncheon. The staff was very friendly and engaging. Our waiter was extremely knowledgeable and we did not have to wait long for service. Unfortunately they were out of lobster bisque, but the mushroom bisque was really good. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their entrees. Great atmosphere. Will definitely go back.
Reservations are needed in the evening unless you sit in the bar which is first come first serve. This restaurant is attached the Columbia Mall on the outside. Parking lot is available as well as Valet parking. Food and drink are rich in flavor and use seasonal produce for their menu's. This is not a good place for a quick bite but rather a date night or gathering. Atmosphere reflects a calm and romantic setting with candles on the tables and dim lighting. Desserts are small portions but filling.
Had a good first time there over the weekend. The truffle mac and cheese is amazing, but make sure you like mushrooms first! My wife and I highly recommend the filet mignon or the sea bass. Also our waitress Katherine S was great and let us sample the tuna. Will be back again in the future.
