It's a really nice place to see a show. It’s well run, and the staff are really nice. Any seat in the pavilion has a great view, and the sound is really good. The screens on the side of the stage are great for close ups if you’re sitting a bit back and the camera work is really good. I've haven't sat on the lawn so I can't contribute to that experience. The food and drinks are expensive but that is true of any venue, and it's really not a dining experience is it. An excellent idea getting your parking assignment before you show up. Getting out of the lot is a breeze, Local law enforcement is there to move things along. I wish more venues were run like this.

Nice, saw the symphony of lights during toddler walkthrough time. About a 40 minute walk and there were small vendors that were a nice treat during the walk.

Nice venue, staff and pretty easy to get in and out. Lawn was nice, relaxed. But you can't see the stage from the top of the lawn. The video screen was it. The camera work was good switching seamlessly between Dave Mathews and Tim Reynolds. And no complaints about the sound. The lawn ended up absolutely packed resulting in people walking through your space. It got more challenging as the night went on ...very hard to walk in dark and not step on people's stuff.

I've quite enjoyed myself seeing Phish at Merriweather Post Pavilion the four times I've gone to see them. It's way less crowded than a Madison Square Garden, which is a plus in my book. Sound is probably significantly better, too; it being an amphitheater and all. Way better under the roof than on lawn, obviously. Prices for food and drink are what they are, it's a concert after all. Good times ahead, though!

The concert was great, with good visibility even from the back row seats in the pavilion. During the concert, the ushers were helpful in removing a drunk, disruptive patron. The food choices were OK but tended toward the fried, with few cheap, healthy, hand-held options. The bathrooms were easy to find, but were not clean, or well stocked with paper towels by the end of the evening. The parking system was bad from start to finish. The new print-at-home parking pass system did not work for me. Further, it was very hard to find my parking lot in the dark after the concert, as there were no signs, and most of the staff had no idea where the outer lots were. The construction made it even harder to reach the parking lots, but is no excuse for poor overall management. Eye-level signs along foot paths would help, along with a hop-on hop-off van or shuttle system.
