This lake is very family friendly clean and safe. Great for exercising and a day of fun with the family and pets as well.
We started our bike ride along the Patuxent Branch trail here. The trail is very well signed, which is very nice. Parking is limited, but you can always park in the shopping center across the street, and there is space long the road as well. The lake walk is very nice, we finished our ride with a quick trip around the lake, but it's pretty popular with walkers, kids, dogs etc.
Fantastic place for a walk or jog. Many people walk their dogs here.
Close to our house,great walking trail around the water, clean, and a nice place to take the kids on a sunday to burn off that young energy! My son's ninja turtles football decided to take a dip in the lake after a missed catch so please keep an eye out!
This lake is about 2 miles around. It's great for walking, running, biking. People fish here too. The scenery is great, and Howard County takes good care of the grounds.
