We recently moved here from Nebraska and my Kitty needed her stitches out. Called around and they were the only ones to say just bring her in! They we're very sweet and I will return with my other cats.
My husband brought my Coco here on an emergency basis after she suddenly became ill after she somehow ingested rat poison someplace in our neighborhood or the fields. The staff took her in right away and provided urgent, efficient, top-catch care and medication for her condition. Everything has been going splendidly for Coco since her visit and recovery. We were very pleased and plan on returning with our other dog, Kye as well.
I agree with some of the other reviews about the smell of the office. I thought maybe I was being super sensitive but after spending time in other vet hospitals recently, I realize that Cat and Dog Hospital has a particular cat pee smell that seems more overwhelming each time we visit. The front desk is helpful and always friendly. They seem knowledgable and eager to help. You do not have to wait on the phone for 20 minutes to get an appointment which is always a positive. However, when my pets actually visit the provider, I feel like we are just another patient and every time we see them we have to review their history--every single time--I feel like there is little continuity and sometimes wonder if they even look at the chart before we enter the room. I feel like they are in a rush to get through our visits and on to the next, which is fine if it is an visit for vaccinations, etc, but when you have a problem and they are rushing you, that is a problem. We have used them for five years and recently have had health issues with our animals and now that the office is being tested I feel like they have failed my pets. We will be finding another vet.
The doctors are knowledgeable and everyone is pleasant. I don't feel like they are pushing treatments. It's all good!
I love this place! I just HATE they only take visa or MasterCard?!
