I cant help but feel like the theatre employees discriminated against my family and I since we were black and the other family was white. In both ways, I had legitimate seats and was forced to give up my seats and leave the theatre.
The new theater is great with the extra large chairs that recline! But be warned this does not mean you can show up close to the start time. Sometimes you almost need to be there 30 minutes before your show time to get your food and drinks before the previews start. The staff is slow at concession counter and if buying tickets the process takes even longer since people have to chose their seats!
I purchased tickets electronically to visit this movie a week prior. The day of the movie, when I went in, I saw my movie time was not on the schedule so quickly changed my tickets to a valid movie time. We went in and sat in the theatre when someone else came in and had been given our seats by the ticket takers. I stepped out to speak with them and was told I would have to give up my seats despite the fact that not only did I have a ticket, not a post it note, with the correct seats, but that my old seats mapped to the same seats in the new theatre.
Love the assigned seating with adjustable recliners. Theater is clean and looks and sounds good. Only issue is that they never seem to put enough people at the concessions area. They either need more people throughout the day or maybe try an "order here, pickup there" system.
Expensive, nice seating, good sound and digital projection. No real family deals. The special offers and rewards programs do not save you much. Be sure to buy tickets in advance. All seats are reserved seating. If you don't buy seats in advance you will wind up in front near the screen. We go because it's local and a short drive. Snacks are normal expensive movie food- nothing special.
Great place to go bring a date and enjoy a movie. Comfy seating that you can reserve and usually not over populated. Food takes a little longer than it needs to, but the chicken tenders are great.
Im not sure I'll visit this theatre again due to the discrimination I experienced here.
