Kind staff who know their stuff. Some good-quality wines (including a notable selection of German & Austrian wines) & liquors sold here if you are willing to get away from mass-produced products.
Columbia Fine Wine & Spirits is the single best liquor store in all of Columbia (BTW - located on Shaker Drive, right at MD 32 & 29, so easy access if you're driving by) They consistently have the best prices in the area and they have a terrific selection across the board - beer, wine, and liquor, plus a bunch of really great people running the place. Say hi to Mike, the owner and a nice guy, and pity him, for he's a diehard Redskins fan. But despite that he has one hell of a great liquor store.
