Bowling alley is modern and clean. Staff is helpful. Prices are a little on the high end($17 for 2 games and shoe rental), but a nice activity to do
Who knew bowling is actually fun? I'd go again. Just make sure you get a ball that's suitable to you. It was kinda dirty there and the bathrooms were wretched, but still can be fun.
Great place to bowl. Wasn't to crowded and it was a good deal. Lots of fun ave very nice staff.
***Update: Snail to the rescue. I'm almost convinced he's the only reason this place manages to stay in business. He was gracious, helpful & polite. Next time I call ahead I'll make sure he's working. Both the stars are for him.
I would strongly recommend driving to another Brunswick, they can't possibly all be this poorly run.
It's a shame this is the only bowling venue in Columbia. We've given them our business many times & always been disappointed in the customer service.
Called ahead once again to ensure we could bring the kids to bowl. The person I spoke with on the phone said there were no leagues (I asked specifically) & that there was open bowling (again, asked specifically). We arrive & guess what, there are leagues. Which means there are open lanes, in some instances two open lanes but none available. The leagues require at least one lane in between & don't want kids around. Apparently the poorly behaved children running through the league lanes aren't an issue.
The two young ladies staffing the front desk were exceptionally rude & unprofessional. When I asked to speak to a manager I was told to wait. 30 minutes later, still waiting. The young ladies were snickering & talking about us to other employees.
This place was very nice. The kids had so much fun. My sons birthday party was a blast. The manager was very polite.
